I got a
Postdoctoral Degree from The Electrocommunication
University of Tokyo
for my researches in the field of ”free locomotion gaits
for quadruped robots” on 1997. I got a Doctoral Degree on Informatics
and Automatics from the Informatics and Automatics Department of the Science
Faculty at Universidad Complutense
de Madrid on
1994. During the time I was studding in Spain, I also was researching at
the Instituto de Automatica Industrial (IAI)
in the Control System Laboratory.
I also
worked as Engineer Designer at the Centro de Instrumentos
on 1988, now called Centro
de Ciencias Aplicadas y
Desarrollo Tecnológico, and also I was part-time engineer of Plastic Manufacture
at Taller de Maquila de Plástico
S.A. de C.V. on 1986. At the end of 1994 I worked at one of the best
private Universities I know in Mexico, the Universidad Anahuac del Sur,
where I was the responsible of the Robotics and Automation Laboratory in
the School of Engineering. I gave lectures in the field of Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamics, Industrial Automation,
Mechanical Design of Prototypes, Quality control (Norma ISO-9000), Advanced
Manufacture, Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacture. After a while, I make a specific research
job at The Research and
Technical Assistance Center of Querétaro State
(CIATEQ) as Titular Researcher in the Research Division. From 1997 to 2001
I have the honor to work at Industrial and
Mechanical Engineering Department of the Technological Institute of Monterrey
Campus Querétaro ,one of
the best educative institutes in Mexico, as the Head of the Automation
Laboratory. After some years, I have the privileges to work
as full-time researcher in the Postgraduate and Research Unit of the
Industrial and Development and Engineering Center, CIDESI. From 2004
to 2009, my main activity was as the Head of the Engineering Faculty in the
Universidad Anáhuac – México
Sur. I also
received the honor to participate in several national and international research
projects in the field of control systems, robotics and mechanical
engineering in Mexico, Japan and Europe. I was a member of the Robotics and
Automation Society of IEEE and founder member of the Mexican Society of
Robotics. I receive the honor to be the President of the Mexican Society on Mechatronics. Honorary member of the Peruvian Mechatronics Society, and International President of the Mechatronic Association of Chile.
